In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore cyanotype, a historic photographic process that uses sunlight and water to create striking blue-and-white prints. Using leaves, flowers, and other natural materials, you’ll design your own compositions, expose them in the sun, and rinse the paper to reveal one-of-a-kind botanical artwork.

Along the way, you’ll learn how the cyanotype process works, how to arrange natural materials into a strong composition, and how sunlight and exposure time affect your finished print. No previous art, photography, or printmaking experience is needed.

This relaxed, hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone interested in nature, photography, experimental art, or simply trying something new. Each participant will leave with original cyanotype prints created during the class.
