Mindful Marbling: Intro to Ink Marbling

Suminagashi, translated as "floating ink", is an ancient Japanese art form where ink is applied to the surface of water, manipulated to create beautiful patterns, and then transferred to a sheet of paper. During this workshop, Leah will help you to create at least four one-of-a-kind suminagashi art pieces. After learning a number of different marbling techniques, you'll be free to sink into the relaxing flow of marbling. This art form is a beautiful exercise in letting go of expectations and sinking into the present moment.
